The 7th Annual Nantahala Open Event

The annual Nantahala Open is a fun competition that is open to all boaters no matter the experience or ability. The Open came about because of the fact that once-upon-a-time the kayaking scene was filled with competitions that seemed strictly “experts only.” Recognizing the spirit of kayaking for fun, there are categories for every skill level--and prizes that go along with them!
